Wit or Wisdom

But never both.

Comment Rules

with 5 comments

Don’t use foul language. Don’t use persistently bad grammar. If either of these rules are violated, your comment will be deleted. Period. End of story. No matter what’s in it.

Try to be courteous. I do not have issue with people challenging mine or other person’s opinion, but I will not tolerate people who resort to ad hominem in their arguments. For those of you who never went to ancient languages school, it is personal attacks, name-calling, etc. If you violate this rule, you will be sorry. I will crush you. I can. Don’t try me.

Finally, for your own sake, please use facts to back up your arguments. People who don’t give facts won’t sound very credible. And who knows, if you’re wrong, you might become right by following facts.

Edit due to trolls: Diversionary comments and arguments designed to distract from the main point and disgust me to the point of saying something I regret will be deleted. Period.

  1. ooh! “ad hominem” good use of the official title of a logical fallacy! Personal attack always makes one’s argument weaker (including poking)

  3. Lone Drifter,
Thank you. I feel if there were more people like you in the world, people willing to speak out against foul language, this world would be a MUCH better place. Thank you.

  4. While I am a Chuck Norris fan, you should know he did trade his wife of many years in for a somewhat newer model back in the 90s I believe it was.
More importantly though “I Stand Redeemed” is as of the last Musicollege.

  5. Hey, Paul. Yes, I know he did that. But I think that was probably before he became a Christian.
