Infamous, Idiotic, or Ignorant Person of the Week: Ingrid Newkirk
3 04 2007First of all, allow me to apologize for this one being late. I’ve been rather busy lately.
Secondly, most of you are probably going: “Who is Ingrid Newkirk?” Well, she’s the president of PETA. And she’s going after Karl Rove for his goofy rapping about hunting at the big media dinner in Washington.
PLEASE! GO! AWAY!
I’ll say nothing more than that some people can’t take a joke and… shall we say, take themselves far too seriously.

I’ve actually had to chase PETA people off my farm. I caught a group of them down by my lake, checking to see if I was mistreating the bog critters. They refused to leave until I showed them a gun. They proceeded to the Sheriff’s office to file a complaint. The officer on duty, who I happen to know, informed them that they had nothing to complain about, since I was well within my rights to have shot them, and he was going to give them a break and not fine them for trespassing. They have not returned.

I also eat the tasty ones, though I find the idea of cockroaches for dinner a bit repulsive, as they are prone to do in third world countries.
Let’s be real. The PETA crowd are nothing but a bunch of commies determined to change the American culture. That is the bottomline.
They can have fun and eat tofu and be weirdos for all I care. I happen to prefer a nice juicy steak –what real men eat. I work for an active rock radio station, and we refer to this as a Man Law. Real men are not vegans. Real men like steak and beer. So yes, if a man was a vegan, you can definitely question their sexuality and most likely assume that they are gay.
