“Facing the Giants”

with 3 comments

If there is only one DVD you buy this year, buy this one. I have a link to the website on the sidebar. You want to talk about Christians really getting involved in the independent filmmaking business. It is awesome. Some of the actors could have done a bit better, though there were some excellent performances, but the technical stuff was amazing. Particularly if you are a Christian, you need to see this movie. If you aren’t, you need to see it, too. It is evidence of just what God can take you through.

Evolutionists… they love to beg the question

with 3 comments

While I have neither the time nor the energy to refute every claim made by evolutionists on this blog, it is interesting to me how often they beg the question. Without offering any credible proof whatsoever for their own theories, they deconstruct my arguments and beg the question constantly. I give arguments that evolution is not true. They insist it is. I give more arguments that evolution is not true. They sidestep my questions and point to minor, questionable evidences of evolution.

They also, when they get frustrated, tend to engage in activity that really doesn’t help their arguments. Personal attacks, angry charges, and mindless claims. I’m not even sure I want to keep going with this evolution stuff, because it is very tiring to hear people attack you personally because you happen to not agree with them. But I’ll probably post at least once more, because I said I would. Maybe twice. The second one will be how come evolutionists have morals. They say we’re just lucky animals and animals certainly don’t have morals.

War on Terror: “dumb war?”

with 3 comments

Barack Obama apparently recently called the war in Iraq a dumb war. I think if he becomes president the terrorists will have what’s called a free pass into anywhere they want to go. He may have to beef up the Secret Service protection (though they probably won’t be allowed to carry real bullets) in order to keep himself safe. Even that might not do it. Then he can explain to us how come he feels the need to keep himself safe and not the rest of us.

Seriously, though, (because Hillary, Obama, Edwards, and the rest of their ilk really should be looked at as a funny joke gone bad) many people don’t realize something about terrorism. (I don’t want to see any comments about: Bush is a terrorist, the war’s for oil, Bush planned 9/11; they aren’t legitimate claims). The reason terrorism hasn’t come here is because the head honchos of it, guys like that coward who ran from Iraq because of the crackdown last week, don’t want to die. They send others to die for them. And they know that if they send others to die while we have backbone in our Executive Mansion, they themselves are going down. And what terrorist really wants to live in hole somewhere, running from the mightiest military in the world and fearing death all the time?
