I think being controversial is kind of cool
Actually, I’m not trying to be controversial. I’m simply trying to offer a viewpoint that obviously isn’t seen too much in the blogging world. And apparently everyone’s viewpoints are okay except for mine, since mine is rooted in Christianity. Funny how that works.
Note: I don’t really hate anybody. In fact, as the Bible commands, I love all God’s creation. But tough love has to be shown once in a while, too, and that’s what I do here at Wit or Wisdom.
I do think it’s kind of funny when someone who doesn’t agree with me, in fact, downright doesn’t like me, is telling other people to go visit my blog. Why do people do that?

Yes, being controversial is very cool. Hold on to your true convictions, no matter what other people say. I may not agree with you on some political matters, but I definitely like your attitude. Not maybe people are brave enough to voice unpopular opinions.

Just be careful on what you are controversial on. Christians are called to spread the gospel, as you say in one of your comments, but too often end up spreading their own opinions instead. Christ set clear examples in these things – he side stepped the politics of the day, without ignoring them, and focussed on truth. Very controversial, but never for controversy’s sake. That’s cool. Very cool.

Ahh, therein lies the difficult line to walk for the Christian. Jaminellis, you confuse me. Did I wrongly assume that you were advocating the post-modern mindset of no absolute truth by your comment on the possibility debate?

You did in deed. The post-modern mindset is not tenable, but how do you explain that to someone with that mindset
